ATLANTA (June 9, 2008) – Piedmont Physicians Group welcomes Philicia L. Andrews, M.D., on June 16 to the Piedmont Physicians at Austell. Dr. Andrews has more than eight years of medical experience in Atlanta and is board-certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Andrews earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Medicine. She then completed her residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center (now Atlanta Medical Center) and went on to earn an Executive M.B.A. for Physicians at Kennesaw State University.
Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians at Austell, Dr. Andrews practiced in Fayetteville at Fayette Minor Emergency Center and Fayette Urgent Care Center. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. She believes the relationship between doctor and patient should be one of mutual respect and that her patients should feel comfortable enough to ask questions.
